After washing my should length hair, I let it dry naturally than when it is almost dry, I do two braids… French braids that start from the side of my head near my exterior eye. I sleep on it… then unravel it early morning to have beautiful beach wavy hair. Works even better on vacation on a tropical beach
As a regular air-dryer, I have to say that it's true that if your hair is wavy by default, it literally stays that way without you having to do anything. But I also think it's the most casual aspect of it, and it's tricky when you combine this with a very relaxed style because if the clothes aren't formal, you look like someone homeless. I understand that it suits them so well because it balances the sobriety of their looks, which are full of formal clothes with their unkempt hair. That said, I don't recommend sleeping with wet hair because it ruins it, at least not continuously. Thanks for sharing.
I so agree with this, unkempt hair + unkempt clothes is a little too 'undone' for me. And I hear you on the wet hair, I actually agree. My hairline is so fine. Appreciate your comment <3
Emily, thanks for sharing our episode! We loved having Mark on. Wanted to note that unfortunately the Dove dry shampoo he loved was reformulated, so sadly it’s not the same.
We had him back for another episode where he shared all his product recs. He recommends Kevin Murphy, hOurs, briogeo’s puff and Crown Affair. Linking here in case it helps anyone!
Thank you for pulling this together, the Olsens are my hair goals always. I don’t have hair styling skills so either air dry, braid, or tuck in my hair and hope for the best. I’m now feeling v pleased that we have the same routine.
I promise this isn't a humble brag, but my hair is exactly like this in length, wave and texture (I also only ever air-dry), but as much as I love it on the OT with their impeccable wardrobes, with my very ordinary clothes, I feel like the result reads differently. Scruffy, rather than cool and undone.
I'm not religious but I'll make an exception for Jesus as a hair muse
Convert me, literally

Love this. I'm a big fan of an air-dry but sometimes my hair looks a bit "meh" on day two. Going to try some of these tips and see if it lasts longer!
I agree! We need an air dry day two guide — I'll think about this
I personally just wet it again! (And never brush lol)
Interesting. I spoke to a hairdresser recently and she recommended just spritzing it with water again on day two... I'll try it out!
I'll test this too x
Or try a spray leave in conditioner. It resets the waves
I have the same hair. The answer is JVN air dry cream and don’t touch it
I need to try this!
These are the posts that speak to me 😅😍
Olsen Twin Fanclub Member forever 🙌♥️
I read the 5 bobby pin rule like 20 years ago and have never forgotten it. Gonna have to try your twisty hair tutorial after this ✨
Jesus as hair muse… well, that’s a new one on me, ha ha x
Luv !!!

I relate to this so much! I think if you have colored/processed hair, it can also vary the energy or vibe that hair can bring to different looks.

me too. And air drying is so simple in theory but I find tiny tweaks make all the difference. Glad you're as obsessed as I am xxx
“I would probably pass away” girl SAME.

We all have our vibes! Sometimes you can't beat the high of really bouncy perfect salon hair 😭
They really are THE reference
I can attest bumble and bumble salt spray is perfect. I also like the ouai hair mask to air dry beachy waves. I dream of achieving Olsen heights.
